Trina's Body Balance Massage

Over the years Trina has put her spin on what it means to get a BB Massage.  Your body is always on a mission to achieve homeostasis.

Homeostasis: All living organisms depend on maintaining a complex set of     interacting metabolic chemical reactions. From the simplest unicellular organisms to the most complex plants and animals, internal processes operate to keep the conditions within tight limits to allow these reactions to proceed. Homeostatic processes act at the level of the cell, the tissue, and the organ, as well as for the organism as a whole.

With Trina's Body Balancing Massage, the idea is to help the body achieve the right type of balance and correct what the body has done to acclimate to your surroundings.  For Example, if you drive a lot, your body will acclimate to your driving bio-mechanics (right leg forward and on the gas pedal, hip tilted, left leg relaxed and inactive.  Or if you are on the computer for your occupation ( head hunched forward, right arm/hand forward on mouse, left arm typing, sitting for prolonged periods of time which shortens your hips flexors and creates back and hip pain.

Trina's sIGNATURE Lymphatic mASSAGE

Sadly the lymphatic system often over looked for it's major importance in the body's mission to constantly achieve homeostasis.

The lymphatic system is part of the circulatory system and a vital part of the immune system, comprising a network of lymphatic vessels that carry a clear fluid called lymph (from Latin lympha meaning water[1]) directionally towards the heart. The lymphatic system was first described in the seventeenth century independently by Olaus Rudbeck and Thomas Bartholin. Unlike the cardiovascular system, the lymphatic system is not a closed system. The human circulatory system processes an average of 20 litres of blood per day through capillary filtration, which removes plasma while leaving the blood cells. Roughly 17 litres of the filtered plasma are reabsorbed directly into the blood vessels, while the remaining three litres remain in the interstitial fluid. One of the main functions of the lymph system is to provide an accessory return route to the blood for the surplus three litres.[2]

Some times our body's just need a little boost.  Manual Lymphatic Massage Therapy a way of helping the body catch up and eliminate the traffic jam that is inhibiting the body ability to remove unwanted waist.  The result is more energy, muscle tone, better range of motion, less aches and pains, increased immune system, and mental clarity.
